Neve Campbell is sharing her ideas on the present Scream franchise and opening up about Scream VI and the Scream V storyline that left her disenchanted.

During an look at Monster-Mania Con earlier this month, Campbell talked about Scream VI, the movie she walked away from after not coming to phrases over her pay.

“I was so sad about Dewey’s death,” she mentioned. “I thought it was tragic and I don’t usually like to criticize the writing in these projects.”

She added, “I was really disappointed in their choice to get rid of David. Dewey’s such a wonderful character, and I think we were all in love with him and I think we all felt pretty sad about that. Which of course is the reason they do it, because it has more impact, but now I miss him. I want to see more of him.”

Scream VI moved ahead with out Campbell who was the face of the franchise. Now Scream VII should transfer on with out Barrera who was not too long ago dropped from the movie over social media posts concerning the Israel-Hamas battle.
