Kevin Spacey was exonerated of all sex assault allegations.

Following a four-week trial in London on allegations of sexual assault, Oscar-winning actor Kevin Spacey has been exonerated in all respects.

The jury at Southwark Crown Court found the 64-year-old Hollywood icon not guilty of two counts of serious sexual offenses and seven counts of sexual assault, causing tears to well up in his eyes.

The allegations covered the time between 2004 and 2013, when Spacey was the creative director of the Old Vic theater in London. He claimed not to be accountable for all of the expenses.

After 12 hours and 26 minutes of deliberation over three days, the jury found Spacey not guilty. Spacey thanked the panel for their decision. Currently, he is also celebrating his 64th birthday.

On Monday at 12.45 p.m. local time, Justice Mark Wall sent the jury out to deliberate. The jury returned on Wednesday afternoon to deliver its judgment.

Two Academy Awards have been given to Spacey for his performances in “The Traditional Suspects” and “American Magnificence.” After quitting “Home of Playing Cards,” he has just resumed appearing. The actor appeared in the Netflix series for five seasons before being sacked in 2017 amid complaints of inappropriate behavior both on and off the set.

Prosecutor Christine Agnew told jurors throughout the trial that Spacey was “a sexual bully” and someone who “delights in making others really feel powerless and uncomfortable,” according to the PA Media news agency. According to the actor, the costs were “insanity” and “a stab in the back.”

One complainant said that while he was driving, Spacey sat in the front seat of a car next to him and grabbed the driver’s hand and put it on his crotch. According to the complaint, Spacey once acted with such vigor that it “took his breath away.” Spacey disputed that this ever happened.

During a charity event, the second complainant claimed that Spacey assaulted him by putting his hand on his leg and grasping his groin with “such pressure it was painful.” Spacey said that this never ever happened.

The third claimed to have met Spacey while employed at a tavern in a rural area of England. Later that evening, the actor claimed Spacey “approached him and gave him a hug,” kissed his neck, grabbed his crotch, and “squeezed,” all while instructing the person to “be cool, be cool.” This occurred at a party at the actor’s holiday home. According to the complainant, he pushed Stacey away and quickly departed before phoning his father to come get him.

Spacey called it a “clumsy move,” but he refrained from accusing him of being sexually assaulted.

The fourth complainant, an aspiring actor, presented one of the most serious accusations, claiming that following a brief interaction with Spacey at a theater production, the actor approached Spacey and requested career advice. Two weeks later, Spacey invited him to his London home and assaulted him there. The complainant claimed that Spacey had drugged him and that he woke up to Spacey engaging in sexual activity with him.

Spacey declared in front of the jury that the two had “a consensual, a really good and wonderful night.”

The complainants all denied seeking financial gain, trying to advance their careers, or delivering false testimony before the jury while being questioned by Patrick Gibbs KC, Spacey’s attorney, according to PA Media.

A New York jury last year found him not guilty of violence for allegedly picking up actor Anthony Rapp and laying on top of him after a party in 1986.
